Kikkoman: "Crafted for Craveability" Broadcast and Digital Spots

TASTE-FORWARD IMMERSIVE STORYTELLING THROUGH COOKING AND SOUND

In Japanese, the word takumi means “craftsmanship.” But it’s more than a word. It’s a philosophy- a profound respect for the mastery of a craft. At Kikkoman, this philosophy is a guiding principle for everything the company does— and it is the same principal that guides my work as a food and culinary lifestyle director.

For this campaign, my approach blended gorgeous, taste-forward food footage of Teriyaki Takumi recipes with sound-rich cooking moments in home kitchen environments.

With flavors like toasted sesame seeds, fragrant diced ginger, and chunks of chopped garlic, we designed our footage to tempt the senses and show the viewer that Kikkoman Takumi Teriyaki sauces are indeed “crafted for cravability.”
