Calm. Assurance. Trustworthiness.

Brighthouse Financial needed to convey a campaign driven by the tone, spirit and feeling of these words in their “Make It Last” Social motion campaign. So, I infused these short videos about cooking and gardening with a bright optimistic light. What attracted me most about this project was that whether tending to delicate orchids or learning pro tips for making scrumptious French toast, these spots feel approachable and positive, two attributes a viewer would quickly associate with the brand.

Simple, clean camera movements

These are short Social spots meant to quickly capture and hold the audience’s attention as they scroll their feed. So, every camera movement was simple and clean. We played with perspective and positioned the camera above the subject or low to create shots that were more graphic and engaging.  

A friendly place in your mind  

The client’s goal was to conjure a friendly sense of place in the viewer’s mind, so we built a fresh atmosphere for the set and background. We accomplished our mission of making the viewer want to be in these places doing these things.
